Opportunity MKE is a program of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Fair Housing Council with significant contributions from other organizations and individuals.

Housing Authorities
​
The goal of increasing families’ access to opportunity rich neighborhoods is shared by the Fair Housing Council, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee, the Milwaukee County Housing Authority, and the Waukesha Housing Authority.

The Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM) - HACM's Housing Choice Voucher (HCV), or rent assistance, program is recruiting eligible HCV families for enrollment in Opportunity MKE. HACM is responsible for administering over 5,800 vouchers.

The Milwaukee County Housing Authority (MCHA) - MCHA’s HCV program is recruiting eligible HCV families for enrollment in Opportunity MKE. MCHA is responsible for administering over 1,900 vouchers.

Waukesha Housing Authority (WHA) - WHA will assist in recruiting eligible HCV families for enrollment in Opportunity MKE. WHA administers over 1,200 vouchers.
