WHAT IS A HOUSING MOBILITY PROGRAM?
​
Many housing mobility programs assist families with rent assistance or Housing Choice Vouchers (HCVs) find rental housing in safe neighborhoods with access to high-performing schools. Opportunity MKE is one such program. Mobility programs may also involve policy changes on the part of the public housing authorities that provide HCVs or other rent assistance.

Yes. Housing mobility programs promote the wellbeing of children, and reduce racial segregation in high-poverty neighborhoods.
